A collection of Chicago photos taken around various parts of Chicago. A Chicago photo-blog with Chicago skyline pictures, and other Chicago neighborhood photos taken by Araceli Arroyo.
I am looking forward to spring but I must say this is one of my favorite shots of the city because of the bare trees infront of the skyline. Unfortunately the day was a bit more darker than I hoped for, but I'm glad I was able to get a few sunset shots in below.
I stopped just before the bridge and took this picture. I wish I could have stopped further ahead along Lakeshore drive over the Wacker bridge to take a better picture of the Chicago skyline.
My favorite pass time. Lakeshore Drive is the best when there is little traffic and the temperature is warm enough to roll down the window. Today was such a beautiful to do just that.
This shot came out a bit blurry, but I liked how the other building reflected of this skyscraper. I will try to snap another picture of it and replace this one. Nonetheless, it's one I'll enjoy seeing.
This establishment has been in business several years now. It's not my favorite club but a fun place to hang out once in a while. I do like that they have three dance sections and lower level pool tables.
This is the view down from the parking garage where I leave my car when I drive into work. This shot reminds me of a simalr looking one I took in New York. The building across the street is very similar unfortunately this garage is not as tall as the hotel I stayed in NYC.
This photo was taken during the weekend. Normally during the week this street is busy by the standard corporate workforce walking rapidly. Today it was completely deserted with te exception of a few tourist.
A local bar around the corner of where I work. This Chicago bar gets pretty packed after work hours and is a bit loud for my taste but a fun place to wind down in after a long day.
I don't know the name of this church but I had to pull over and take a picture of it. I like the architecture of many church buildings but with the reflection of the sunset against it, this one just called to me.
I've actually haven't been inside the park yet, but I know it's a Chicago favorite tourist spot. I can't wait until it's warmer out so I can take my dog for a walk here.
The morning was very cloudy and a bit drizzly at times. Nonetheless I wanted to snap some pictures of the Chicago skyline coming into work today. Instead I opted to take random shots as the train progress north heading downtown
