Washington Ave. Bridge
Here is a closer look at the bridge crossing on Washington Avenue heading east towards the lake. I took this picture this weekend normally during the week you'll find many pedestrians pushing their way to work through here.

West Loop Bridge
One of the many old cast iron bridges over the Chicago Canal that still hold me captive. I particularly like this picture because the magnitude of the bridge seems greater with the skyscrapers in the background.

CTA Billboard Art
It's nice to see actual art on a CTA billboard, instead of random advertising. If memory serves me correctly thus is from the Washington/Wabash EL stop. Send me a note if I'm mistaken.

Industrial Chicago
After walking towards one end of Maxwell Street Market we stopped to gaze at the railroad tracks overlooking the Chicago skyline. This the view you can see right around Canal Avenue & 16th Street. I like to call these set of pictures - Industrial Chicago. What do you think?

Chicago South Side Irish Parade
As I mentioned before I went on vacation, I went to the Chicago South Side St. Patrick's Day Parade. I missed the parade from the Chicago loop from the day before. Unfortunately I also missed when they colored the Chicago River green, but was glad to make the much larger and alcohol friendly parade of the southern part of the city. Below are my favorite shots from that day.

Maxwell Street Market
As promised here are my favorite pictures that came from the Chicago photoblogger's outing at Maxwell Street Market last month. It is one huge garage sale of EVERYTHING with a magnificent view of the chicago skyline in the background.Yes you can even find the kitchen sink. Check out the few oddities found below - I laughed when I saw a bloody Chucky doll. I didn't dare ask the price, the way it was displayed was more like a scarecrow scaring everyone away, except the evil kid smiling in front it. heheh! Sorry for the late post I was off on vacation for two weeks :)
