Village Theater

I've seen many - MANY - movies at this old theater. The Village theater located in the North side of the city has been around for as long as I can remember. Now I often go during the Latino Film festival.

Pizzeria Uno

I love the individual size deep dish pizza here. Just blocks from the Magnificent Mile, this long running establishment is a nice rest spot to fill that yearning for a Chicago-style pizza.

Old Chicago Water Tower

I missed the air and water show this weekend, however I decided
to enjoy the great weather and take a stroll through Michigan Avenue. I came to a stop and enjoyed a short sit-down in the plaza area of the Old Chicago Water Tower. A Chicago Landmark, this miniature castle like building survived the Great Chicago Fire and is a major tourist attraction. This is a nice hot-spot for people watching. The plaza fills with many tourist, shoppers and jovial children.

Tall Buildings

Sometimes I wish I lived in a high-rise building so I could have a great view of the city. Although I've never lived in one, that's the only benefit I can imagine. A side from the great view looking up and looking out, I am content where I live. It's nice to admire the tall building anyway.

I usually don't plug many things on here, but I signed up to a new instant messaging service today and I am really digging it. I found it through an article that stated interested from Google in this chicago based company. I won't post the details in order to give you the important aspect of the software application. The big plus on this new app is that it's a LOCAL messaging service, where you can easily see who is near you and chat away.
